How accurate are the prices?
PriceScope searches real sold listings across eBay, Mercari, and more. Popular items get very accurate comps. Rare or niche items may have fewer data points. Use as a guide, not a guarantee.
Which platforms can I scan?
Any listing you can screenshot — Facebook Marketplace, eBay, OfferUp, Craigslist, Mercari, Poshmark, Depop. If it has a photo and price visible, PriceScope can read it.
What do the verdicts mean?
🔥 Great Deal = well below market (35%+ savings). 👍 Fair Price = close to what others pay. 😐 Slightly High = above average but not extreme. 👎 Overpriced = significantly above market value.
Why did my scan fail?
Blurry screenshots, poor lighting, or a very niche item can cause failures. Try again or use the 'Wrong item?' field to help the AI identify it correctly.
Do failed scans count against my limit?
No. Only successful scans count toward your monthly limit.
How do I activate my paid plan?
After checkout, enter the email you used at payment. It's saved locally so you only need to do it once.
Is my data private?
We don't store your screenshots. We log item name, price, and verdict for scan counting only. Screenshots are processed by Google Gemini AI.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancel anytime through Stripe. Your access continues until the end of the billing period.
